Our Services

Three ways to change how your space feels

Each service is complete in itself. Some clients start with a consultation and build from there; others come knowing exactly what they need. Either approach works.

Our Approach

Observation before decisions

Every Terrene Co project starts from the physical reality of the space — not from a mood board or a predetermined style direction. We visit the site, observe how it handles heat, light, airflow, and how the people who use it actually move through it. That observation shapes everything that follows.

Our methodology is particularly suited to the Malaysian context: tropical conditions create specific constraints and opportunities that most design approaches from outside the region don't account for. We've built our process around addressing those directly.

The result is design work that holds up across seasons, not just at handover. Spaces that feel right in a humid October afternoon as much as in a dry February morning.

1

Site Visit & Assessment

Physical observation of the space — light movement, airflow, humidity response, and how occupants use it day to day.

2

Design Development

Spatial planning, material selection, and visualisation developed in structured rounds with clear client input at defined points.

3

Documentation & Handover

Contractor-ready specifications, material codes, and sourcing details — complete documentation to support implementation.

4

Implementation Support (optional)

For Season-Through Support clients, ongoing oversight of the renovation — procurement, contractor coordination, quality checks.

Across All Services

How every project is managed

Client Confidentiality

Project photography and personal details are not shared or published without explicit client approval. We treat access to a client's home as a serious responsibility.

Defined Scope

Each service has a clear scope document before work begins. Changes to scope are discussed and agreed explicitly — there are no quiet expansions or reductions.

Humidity Performance Standards

All material specifications are reviewed against performance data in tropical conditions. We maintain a reference library of tested materials appropriate to Malaysian residential use.

Communication Protocol

One working day response time. Decisions are documented in writing. Verbal agreements from site visits are confirmed by email to prevent misunderstanding.

Contractor-Ready Output

Documentation is written to be understood by contractors without design training — specific codes, dimensions, and suppliers rather than aesthetic descriptions.

Structured Review Process

Feedback rounds happen at defined milestones, not continuously. This produces clearer, more useful feedback and prevents the design from drifting incrementally in an unintended direction.

Pricing

Clear pricing, no surprises

All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit. Payment terms are discussed and agreed before work begins.
